This six-key boxwood Bb clarinet was built by Richard Bilton, a London maker working between 1826 and 1856. He started off working for makers J. Cramer, Florent, and Key. It is likely this particular instrument was made in the 1820's or 30's due to the limited number of keys.

Overall the instrument is in restorable condition with all keys and parts present sans part of the bell ring. There is some wear on the inside of the bore.
