In a time long, long ago, the saxophone family welcomed a new instrument to the fold for the sole purpose to be played in the home. This saxophone is the C-Melody saxophone. The range falls between that of the alto and the tenor and in the case of this Buescher, featuring a slightly larger body than an alto with a goose neck a la tenor saxophone.
This Buescher features original silver plating and is an "as-is" sale. The horn plays, but could use a repad in the near future. This Buescher boasts a full, free blowing sound and does not come with the stuffy sound that people associate with older silver plated saxophones.
