And Conn has never stopped pioneering in saxophone design, maintaining the only full-time research department in the industry. From Conn research have come such improvements as Lustre-Conn brass finished, Calibore acoustical design, hydraulically expanded tubing, drawn saxophone tone holes and many more. Whether for growing or artist talent, Conn saxophones continue to set the standards for quality and performance.

Precision-formed body, bow and bell: All Conn saxophone bodies and bells are formed on ultra-precision mandrels. Bows are created in specially designed forms to insure accurate dimensions throughout. Acoustical accuracy is unerringly maintained.

Lustre-Conn Finish: Revolutionary advancements in brass finish. Lustre-Conn is not a lacquer and has proven itself over 7 1/2 times more durable and resistant to tarnishing than any musical instrument lacquer yet developed.
