Saxophones in Modern Dress for the Modern Artist

Band and orchestra leaders have made wonderful strides in costuming their artists and arranging the settings to fit out new modern music. Musicians everywhere have wanted new style engravings for their instruments in harmony with modern settings, so Conn has created the new modern style. Almost everything else under the sun has been modernized - furniture, lighting fixtures, interior decorations, residences, automobiles, theatres, office buildings. No saxophones have been modernized by Conn.

The first change in Forty Years

It has been a long, long time since any change has been made in the engraving design on band and orchestra instruments. Old-style engravings are still used on other make saxophones. Conn has felt that the conventional designs used for the past forty years are as out-of-date as the old floral wall paper and ingrain carpet design. Son Conn has brought its saxophones up-to-date. The new Conn designs are modernistic in their motifs and fairly ring with everything musical, from the tiniest cymbal to the mammoth pipe organ. 

Musicians Demand the New Style

Musicians everywhere wanted these new styles so Conn created them. It is only natural that artists and amateurs should prefer an instrument with the new style engraving design because modernistic designing has come to stay. Almost every new office building, theatre, bridge, public building will stand for hundreds of years IT is a fact well known to students of the history of art that the style of architecture of an age stamps all other arts with a pattern. n this steel construction age we are developing a new art in sympathy with it. This new art has come to stay. You can be sure that when you own a new Conn modern saxophone you not only have the latest saxophone but one that will stay in style.
