C935 C trumpet is a big-belled '900 Series' horns that was made in the 1990s. This model was first introduced in 1993, and it is a '5-weight' instrument. 5-weight instruments are on the heavier side of the spectrum and they play with a high level of stability, although they are by no means the heaviest horns Monette makes. The C935 was one of the brighter-sounding standard C trumpet models of its era (1993-1994).
Horns like the C935 work best for players who use a fairly open, neutral physical approach, and who usually play in large acoustic spaces. The C935 is a great choice for an orchestral player (or other C trumpet player) who likes to make a broad, thick kind of sound, with a great balance between bright and dark.
This particular C935 was made in 1994 and is a .468 bore horn.
Includes original Monette double case and two mouthpieces, C2GS3/10 & C2GS3/12.
