Vincent Bach has long been the standard bearer in brass instruments for generations. Within that storied history, there are particular time periods that seem to speak to players on a spiritual level. The Early Elkhart horns and those just after the move from Mt. Vernon to Elkhart, Indiana, have a richness and shimmer that has sent modern producers chasing the ghost of beautiful sounds-past. This 229 25H C Trumpet features the standard Large bore, Bach valve cluster and valves, as well as, a "Corporation" bell. These bells are constantly sought after for their shimmer and feel at both soft and loud volumes. The instrument overall is in wonderful physical condition.
