Some horns are more than instruments, they are works of art, pieces of history, and gateways to the sounds that have defined the ages. This Bach NY Stradivarius from 1927 has aged gracefully and matured to a wonderful honey sound. This horn was relacquered, but retains all of the character and sweetness a horn from this era is known for.
The horn itself features a #6 lead pipe and #6 bell, which are both stamped on the trumpet itself. As an added bonus, the people at Bach were kind enough to send over a copy of the original shop card for this horn, which can be found in the additional photos section. As a large bore, free blowing instrument, it is ideal for a multitude of different musical environments from the chamber hall to the bandstand.
Play a piece of history. Hold a work of art. All the while, have an instrument that will help continue the tradition of beautiful music from the early 20th century through the early 21st century.
