At Bob Reeves Brass we bring tradition in harmony with technology.
The result is the Bob Reeves Brass Classical Series Trumpet Mouthpiece. Our 50+ years of experience machining and helping solve brass players’ problems result in a trumpet mouthpiece that feels great, plays easier, and preserves the classic trumpet sound.
The rims and cups are based on New York, Mt. Vernon, and early Elkart vintages of popular mouthpieces. We selected the final mouthpiece rim and cup contours by analyzing and comparing hundreds of examples of each model and finding what about those examples players liked best.
The backbore is newly designed by Bob Reeves Brass. It plays more in tune and consistent through all registers. This design facilitates a clean, precise articulation. It produces a noble sound that is dark, rich, and resonant.
