For two decades it has been a dream of mine to recreate the seemingly lost mouthpieces of the great working players from the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s. Many of these great players played on the recordings that we hold in high esteem. They were the lead, section, and jazz players with the big bands and early drum and bugle corps. They were those strong solid players in your fathers, or even your grandfathers high school or college band.
After much research, time, and effort, I have created the PATRICK Vintage line of trumpet mouthpieces. The PATRICK Vintage line cups are composed of a single convex curve. These mouthpieces have an aerodynamic design which cuts down on the undesirable turbulent and frictional forces that are created in a conventional bowl shaped cup. Because of technology, we can do better than copy great old mouthpieces. We can subtly change and vary just enough to give us even more benefit as players. It is my hope that this line will help older trumpet players who have lost their old mouthpieces and introduce a new generation of trumpet players to something that can greatly help their endurance, pitch, range, and sound.
All models have a 28 hole unless otherwise noted.

The BSAH Al Hirt Model B has an inner diameter of 41/64″, a semi flat rim cushion contour, and a shallow cup. If you like the Jet-Tone Al Hirt B model, you will love the PATRICK Vintage BSAH.
The CSAH Al Hirt Model C has an inner diameter of 41.64″, a medium round cushion contour, and a shallow cup. If you like the Jet-Tone Al Hirt C model, you will love the PATRICK Vintage CSAH.
The DSAH Al Hirt Model D has an inner diameter of 41.64″, a round, slight cushion contour, and a shallow cup. If you like the Jet-Tone Al Hirt D model, you will love the PATRICK Vintage DSAH.
