One of the most beloved saxophones in history, the Selmer Mark VI is prized by many as the greatest ever made. This Mark VI is from roughly 1969 and has some of the most gorgeous lacquer we have seen in the shop in a long time. A single-owner saxophone, this horn was recently overhauled and is in tip top shape. The neck has a different serial number, 129xxx, where the body serial is 166xxx. Although the neck and body do not match in serial numbers, the combination of the two seems to be tailor fit for the horn. The intonation is noticeably solid and the tone is particularly even throughout all registers. . If your dreams sound like Trane, Brecker, or any number of the greatest saxophonists to have played, this is the horn to help bring those dreams to reality.
