Selmer Mark VI Tenor Saxophone

Article number: 54U
Availability: In stock

One of the most beloved saxophones in history, the Selmer Mark VI is prized by many as the greatest ever made. This Mark VI is a particularly beautiful specimen from late into the production of the saxophone. It features a lighter lacquer color, high F# key and adjustable thumb rest. The tone is that characteristic "Mark VI Sound" so often heard on records and in performances to this day. This saxophone is particularly free blowing and seems to have very little resistance throughout the whole range of the horn, allowing for the player to move seamlessly from top to bottom. If your dreams sound like Trane, Brecker, or any number of the greatest saxophonists to have played, this is the horn to help bring those dreams to reality.
