This is one of the more interesting vintage trombones we've had at the shop! The bell on this instrument reads "401", with a French style bead, but the slide is very obviously Conn parts. The bell and slide combination lead us to believe it's a prototype of the Bach Model 6 Trombone - specifically the 6iv. Specs are below:
