Yellow: Standard for Bach 42 trombones. A fantastic, warm, stable sound with great core. This is a wonderful bell for trombonists looking for a standard set up, playing in wide/round halls, and/or to liven their sound a little more.
Gold: Darker than a typical yellow bell sound. The higher copper content in the bell takes more momentum to get the sound to blossom, but at higher volumes, it will have a richer, darker sound than its yellow brass counterpart.
Screw Bell: Cutting a bell changes a few different aspects of the sound. The largest different is turning the bell into a two-piece construction vs one-piece. A one-piece bell usually has a stronger core of sound while a two-piece bell gains more "front of the note" control.
