This is a charming Bb Bass Saxhorn made by Whalen (Payern, France ca. 1867-1896). The instrument is in playing condition with few cosmetic flaws. It was likely manufactured in the 1880s but, unfortunately, there is no case to accompany this instrument. This instrument is pre-owned.
